In deze expo – of is het toch een koortsdroom? – maakt Ruth haar stoutste dromen waar. Verdeeld over vier paviljoenen en 900 m2 aan speelruimte probeert ze terug te geven van wat ze al kreeg. Met een mix van installaties, schilderijen, sculpturen en creaturen nodigt ze de bezoeker uit op ontdekkingstocht: van een experimentele wildernis naar een anekdotische heimat, langs museale schilderijen en vijftien jaar creatieve Sturm und Drang.
Wees welkom om een uniek Gesamtkunstwerk te beleven. Ruth verkent wat het betekent om mens te zijn en neemt je mee in een wereld vol onverwachte kleuren, gelaagde verhalen en ongebreidelde creatieve geestdrift. Dit alles vindt plaats op het prachtige Goed Te Réables in Ooidonk. Een plek om te avonturieren, te fijnproeven, te cultuurbarbaren of er wild te brassen. Niemand blijft onbewogen.

Ruth Devriendt (°1991) maakt en doet, vol vrolijkheid en authenticiteit. Ze geeft zwerfmateriaal zingeving, ontkent het bestaan van onkruid en wil anderen de kunst schenken die ze zelf ooit ontbeerde.

In this exhibition—or is it a fever dream after all?—Ruth makes her wildest dreams come true. Spread across four pavilions and 900 m2 of playground, she attempts to give back what she has already received. With a mix of installations, paintings, sculptures, and creatures, she invites the visitor on a journey of discovery: from an experimental wilderness to an anecdotal homeland, past museum-quality paintings and fifteen years of creative Sturm und Drang.
